ACTool has 2 parts:
1. ACTool.exe
2. ACTool Decal Companion

When you install ACTool, both of these are installed on you PC. You need to remember where you installed ACTool, because you're going to have to go to that folder for step #1 below.


In order to run *ANY* macro downloaded from here:
1. Start ACTool.exe That means double-click on it.
2. Load the macro into ACTool (Menu File->Open). If you have copy/pasted the macro from somewhere you must save it first
3. Start Decal
4. Start Asheron's Call
5. Log in the character you want to run the macro on
6. Hit the F2 key. Macro should start

In Addition

ACTool has a "Test Mode", used by macro authors while testing/debugging their work.
If you have Test Mode turned on, you need to turn it off before running a macro. The top-right of the ACTool window should display the text "TEST MODE OFF" on a grey background. If it displayes "TEST MODE ON" on a red background, you need to click the "Macro" menu, then click Test Mode and turn it OFF.
