And for those who prefer to code in C/C++/.NET, I'm working on a DLL that will expose all the functionality of FFACE or FFACT. Expect, RZN and I have agreed not to hold anything back. I'll have a working beta out in a few days at worst.

The main reason we hold some things back is because our main objective was not cheating or botting for things like NMs and such. It's ment for crafting, fishing, farming, skillups, PL'ing, etc. The list goes on. We don't want things like nm camping bots.

Other things, like POS, FLEETool, and shit like that are not included as well because hacking is lame.

Guns don't kill people. People with guns kill people. But it's not my business to say where you carry your heater. I just provide the functionality to do things, and the rest is my users' business. I'm not going to say that using an automated power leveler is okay but using an automated nm camper isn't. That just sounds opinionated and retarded.

I am curious as to exactly what you guys policy on the use of FFACE and the like actually is? Do you mind it being used in 'hacks'? Do you want credit given?

On an unrelated note, I've been trying to port MrArgus to AC Tool. Can anyone help me by actually explaining how the settarget function works? As far as I can work out it pulls some value out of the monsters structure, then sticks some function of the mobs ID followed by the 'targetcode', from the struct into the targetinfo offset. This is after disabling the initcode of course. What I need to know is how exactly it works; where these values come from (why it works would be nice too).

As I say this, please consider that the FFACE.exe ACTools companion and the DLL extention are sovereign. Rzn governs the MMF Companion and I write the DLL file, so I don't know what Rzn has in mind when he works on FFACE.exe.

As far as I'm concerned though, the sky is the limit. I have a fish bot in active development using the ACE dll, as well as a Party Bot (yes, a bot that acts as a party member). Your imagination is really the limit, and as I said before, I'm not going to tell people that this is right and that is wrong. Make your own judgement.

I've never heard of MrArgus. Rzn might be able to give you a more informed answer on what it does in memory, though. The amount that guy knows about FFXI's structures boggles me.

MrArgus was basically the original claimbot. It scans the npc structure for mob spawns, then changes your target to the mob, then hits a macro.

Anways, enough of the mrargus stuff here. pm me if anyone can help.

Creativity aside, wouldn't it be more intuitive to run a loop that looks like:
