As an exercise in learning VB.NET, I decided to resurrect an old game I wrote back in the early '80s called Rats. This has nothing whatever to do with SkunkWorks or AC, but now that I have it working I thought I'd make it available here for your amusement.
The link to the installer is below. Since this is a .NET app, you'll need the .NET Framework (version 1.1) to run it. I expect the installer will complain if you don't have it.
There's some sketchy documentation included in the package; click Help on the Options dialog to read it, or double-click on Rats.htm in the installation folder.
I've done a bunch of play-testing, but again, this was a learn-as-you-go project, so it's quite possible there are lurking bugs. Be warned.

Eek! You wrote this? My goodness, I played an entire summer of rats at my first intern computing job at Burroughs (in between writing test code in pascal). We had it on the B20 minicomputer. Rats and Space Invaders were the two games we had.
Did I mention I hated the little rats?
Now I have to go cue a summer of 1981 soundtrack full of Urgent, Burning for You, Flirting with Disaster...

By the way, shouldn't this be in green monochrome? Way too colorful

Choose the Classic Mono skin for that old timey feeling.
