Is it possible to make an anti thirst acscript for skunkworks in ac? I was trying to do it with actool but the only companion variable to check players in vincinity, _playersnear, seems to not detect in a great enough range. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well, you can look at the collection of players that are in the vicinity, though I have no idea what "anti thirst" was so I cant tell you any more, but if you're just looking for an alert about people in the area, you could also just be alerted when a player object is created using the appropriate event.

Well thirst is that 3rd party util that people use to cast spells on you wherever you are usually they use it to cast spells on you off radar soyou can't portal out recall or log. Looking to make a detection routine. I thought I had it but now i'm not sure. Would like to make a routine that detects when a player is casting a spell on you. I'm sure it is possible. I know in actool you can read and set memory in realtime jsut have to locate the right addresses. Thanks for your help.

Btw do you know how much of a range OnObjectCreate(aco) has? Thanks again

In theory, if you could possibly know about it, it has to be created (so off radar). As far as spells targetted at you, I havent ever looked into such a thing, but I assume there's a way to determine the object (e.g. the spell particles) and their destination, but that's way beyond my skill. -t
