Running Windows Vista not sure 100% if it is compatible but Console run's but say's the game is not running when i try and load a prgm and skunkworks is not showing up in my decal bar.

All vista permissions have been shut off so nothing blocking it there . i do not run a router or antivirus prgm. decal is up to dats as is all my vista updates.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as i really want to run the portal bot for my guild.



*on a side Note* I have heard there is an updated version of the portal bot other than what is showing if anyoe knows where i can attain the newer version i would be greatly appreciative also

Does Decal work otherwise? I don't use Vista but I seem to recall that there's some trick to getting Decal to work on Vista.

Do SkunkWorks and SkunkWorks Filter show up in the Decal Agent dialog? Are they enabled?

Try this. Download DebugView, unzip it, run it, and turn on log file capture (File > Log to File...). Then start the SkunkWorks console, turn on tracing (Configure > Diagnostics > Trace), and close the console. Then log into the game and log back out to Windows. Close DebugView, find the log file it created, and post it here as an attachment (it will probably be too big to copy & paste in line).

I'm not seeing any evidence in that log that the SkunkWorks plugin tried to initialize. So we're back to the previous question, which you didn't answer:

Do SkunkWorks and SkunkWorks Filter show up in the Decal Agent dialog? Are they enabled?

If they do and they are, then the next step would be to try uninstalling and reinstalling SkunkWorks, making sure that Decal is not running when you do it.

Aight sry i musta missed the previous question but yes both skunkworks and the filter are on in decal and i turned everything else off includeing filters other than decal program filters...Echo Filter, spell filter etc..

I uninstalled (from control pannel) reinstalled with Decal and AC off and still got nothing.

I also tried running it direct from the turbine folder launcher and that didn't work either.

I gotta be missing something i just can't see what it is..

I installed the required programs... mebe it's just Vista challenged..

If you just start the SkunkWorks console from the Start menu, i.e. just the console itself, not your DibBot script, what do you see in the console window?

With no ac or Decal running i get SkunkWorks version 3.5.500 .. nothing comes up when i load decal..

In the future, please attach the logs as attachments intead of pasting them in line.

I'm still not seeing anything obvious that could be causing your problem. If it's a Vista thing, I'm not really in a position to help much since I don't have Vista.

Is there some sort of XP compatibility mode you can use to run AC and/or SkunkWorks?
