everything worked fine this evening. Logged out of skunkworks and started some other plug in's togo hunt awhile. Got ready to log out and turn Dibbot on and got this error ....

??? I have even tried entering the keyword in all caps according to the older way caps were forced in this field. I'm operating under WinXP. The Program is functioning very well in all other aspects - (buffing, scripting, etc.) But the whole point of the program is portals - and I can't get the portals feature to enable.

Any help would be hot, thanx so much!

Make sure you are pressing the Enter button after each entry. Do not click in the field until you see your entry slide up above the entry line.

I saw the same error and was frustrated.

I've gone through and through the options, and cannot find that configuration. The other bots that use dibbot respond to General chat inquiries. Also - local chat inquiries do not work either. Only the /a chat inquiries are working.

And as a sm side note - can I add my own tagline?? Just something saying that I'm located in Holt?? Since I'm a new set of bots, no one nows where I am. Also, if poss, I'd like to do random shout out's - like the buff bots do randomly.


And lastly, Where do I set the perameters for those who can send me Admin Commands?? I modified the New Array section of the usercondig to ream the names of my two main chars - is that the right way to accomplish this?

Part two of lastly - where can I find a list of the Admin Commands please?

OK - so I found it and it was of course, simple. It's the "Log General" option - I didn't think it was related to the respond commands - I just thought those would log all General channel - and I had no interest in logging all the chatter from General.

*sigh* But it's working, so

I just installed and trying to get dibbot running. i start decal, then start AC. In game, i open the skunkworks icon and select DibBot205.swx and hit Go. and this is what i get:

In my decal, skunkworks is the only plug in selected and skunkworks filter is in the filters part.

I've merged together several Dibbot-related threads. Please note that I am not the author of Dibbot and do not provide support for it myself. If you can track down the author (Maud-Dib) and let him know you have an issue, maybe he'll post a solution here.

Meanwhile, double-check the Dibbot readme to make sure you've set it up correctly.
