AC Tools Everything Macro > AC Tool > AC Tool Discussion

good evening!
i have a problem!
i renamed, hid and removed (with a 3rd party tool) already the actools.exe in the process-list of the task-manager.
but the problem is, the game also scan the application names in the task-manager!
how i can change the name of the ac-tool 5.0.3 application? (i dont talk about the *.exe)
i need to change the name here: (Anwendung = application in the english task-manager)

i spend a lot of time to learn the script-language of ac-tools and a lot of time in my macros, but i know nothing about delphie!
i downloaded already delphie 7.0 and browse the source-code of ac-tool, but i guess its to hard for me to find alone a solution! sad.gif
could somebody tell me, where in the souce-code i could change the name?
or could somebody change the name to AhhCehh T00ls or something like that?
thanks in advance and greetings

To do that simply rename AcTool.exe to something else.

thats the problem!
it dosent change the application-name, just the name of the *.exe in the process-list of the task-manager.
my actools was already renamed to "icq.exe", as i take the screenshoot in my first posting. ;-)
do u have another idea/solution? smile.gif
greetings

No idea since what you asked I simply changed the name of the .exe and the name, like the pic you posted, was changed in the taskmanager. This might have something to do with your windows being Dutch and mine is for the USA OR it could be that I am now on Vista64 and the task manager in it is way different than the one in XP.

Run "actool.exe /?" I believe actool.exe /title:XYZ may work.

but the problem is, i have still the "5.3.0" or the "5.4.0" in the task name!

You can Change the Exe name, you can change the Task/Title Name with the /Title: command
CODE
"C:\Program Files\AC Tool\WeeLittle.exe" /Title:WeeLittle
so Under the Task Manager under Applications it says "WeeLittle 5.4.0 - <Some Macro>.mac -- Running" Another trick is to Compress the Exe. The most popular flavor is http://www.upx.com. WeeLittle is Compressed 955KB. Instead of having the <Some Macro>.mac have it Dummy Macro file Name too... "Procomm Fax 5.4.0 - Waiting_Data.001 -- Running" then just have the Waiting_Data.001 load/Include your Main Macro.

I have never ran into a GG or Nprotect game but I will tell you that after I read up on them I can tell you that you will need to remove the nprotect and/or gameguard before you can cheat. In C++ it is damn hard but in ACTool it is damn impossible.

Good luck.
