Is it possible to send packets to a game (send orders, a simple keypress for example) while being alt tabbed? meaning not actually having the mouse/keyboard press, but just having the packet send to the program.

Yes, it is possible but not for ACTool unless *YOU* knew the game locations to read from and write to then ACTool could do it.

Not for me it wouldn't but I will tell you that any program that would do it would be designed specifically for that game. I don't know of anything that could do that generically but you could always try autoit and see if that will help you.
