Full Version: AutoBot v1.4.2
AC Tools Everything Macro > AC Tool Macros > Asheron's Call Macros
Dodecahedron
I wrote this after getting tired of coming home to find my tradebot and/or buffbot had crashed while I was away.

What it does:

-Checks to see if the bot is still online and if not logs it back in and restarts either AC Trade or CastAway Buffbot. Will recover from practically anything except the computer itself crashing.

-Allows you to remotely logout the bot for a period of time if you need to access it from another computer, provided you have a second account you can log in to sent the bot the command.

Requires:
-Desktop set to 1024 X 768 resolution
-AC set to run in either 1024X 768 or 800 X 600 resolution
-AC Zone Launcher for Zone access.
-Latest Decal and AC Tool
-CastAway Buffbot and/or AC Trade Decal plugins
-WinZip (Optional)

I chose to use AC Zone Launcher over Drakiers since it is faster for just getting to the Zone Lobby and required fewer mouse movements (less coding). Plus, it uses less system resources if you are running on a low end computer.

The macro is extremely well commented for setup, so I won't repeat it all here.

This is my first public AC Tool macro. Feel free to show me my errors, point me in a better direction or praise me if I deserve it.

Script works awesome, have been using it since u first posted it. However, Turbine/Microsoft threw another curveball at us since the server move. With a trade window boot to the desktop, on relogging, Im getting an error message, stating that my zone ticket has expired and I need to close the client and restart the client. This happens after bot has been online for probalby about 2 hours plus. Im not a programmer, so wouldn't know how to put the code into the script to handle this situation. Its just a matter of clicking OK on the error message and closing the client, then restarting.

Sorry for lack of replies, just started a new job.

Charlietoona, I havn't been getting the 'Zone Ticket Expired' message on my comp. If this is a problem for you set the 'status_check' constant to something like 5 minutes. I think this error occurs when the macro attempts to log onto the account too soon after the crash and it takes too long for the server to log the character out of the world. Setting 'status_check' to 5 should reduce the number of times this happens until I can get a better fix.

Falcon, sounds like you either have out of date memlocs or don't have the latest version of AC Tool. 'axis' is a term used in mathematics to describe the location of a point on a grid. For the purposes here, it's a term I used to help me keep track of what variable was what. The only 'axis' you need to set as a user are the mouse coords for AC Zone Launcher in the system tray. The procedure to do that is detailed in the macro comments.

I'm going to release a new version in a week or so that will allow you to choose between AC Zone Launcher and Drakiers.

If you have windows2000 or windows xp you can use TankCrashHelper.

ElTank CrashHelper

That doesn't use zone launcher tho.
