It works. It has been working for a very long time now.
Your primary tie needs to be Martine's Retreat
Your secondary needs to be Samsur
You need to have healing at least trained
You have to have alchemy at least trained
You have to have item magic at least trained and able to cast portals
You have to be standing just outside the healer when you start
If you make a change, then it is not the macro I released, and it is not going to be supported
I am not taking requests for changes
My subscription ran out on March 21, and I currently have no plans to renew. Well scratch this one!! Won 56 bucks on Sportsline, got one more month
UPDATEAttached here (macro vault does not allow uploads at the moment) is an updated version of the potion macro. Only people that would need it are those with issues with a healer's heart and certain other items, and those who use the buff section (I switched to a newer way I came up with in a current WIP)

Not sure if this is a bug or what, this is my first time ever using AC Tool, but here goes [face_puttingonasbestosflameproofsuit]...
Trying to run (obviously) potions_220.mac
AC Tool version 4.5.5
Windows XP
This is regarding an error message that I'm getting in AC Tools. I highly doubt it has anything to do with Decal, but just in case:
Decal version 2.6.1.1
ACTool is the only plugin, and the following filters are running:
Echo Filter 2 v2.6.1.1
Character Stats Filter v2.6.1.1
World Object Filter v2.6.1.1
Identity Queue Filter v2.6.1.1
Spellfilter v1.4.0.2
Imp Filter 2 v2.8.0.12
Kebas Account Filter 1.0.0.6
I get the ties to Martine's and Samsur. I'm sitting at the Samsur drop and I start the macro up. It goes through all the sendtext items, makes sure the inventory is open, checks the packslots, and then goes into the LoadDecalInventory procedure. Then it stops. The entire time, the only thing that's happened on my character is the inventory dance. Click over to AC Tool and the following error message has come up:
Error: Macro Line: LoadDecalInventory
Caused Error: Cannot open file
"C:\DOCUME~1\Culdacar\LOCALS~1\Temp\inventory.cds". The system cannot find the file specified.
Module: potions_220.mac Line:236
So I look in the help section and find the /actinv command, and figure that must be the problem. I try it out. Same thing. I take a closer look at where it's sending the log, and it doesn't match up with the error message:
<AcT> Inventory saved to C:\PROGRA~1\MI9A48~1\ASHERO~1\inventory.csv
Help! I think that's all the relevant information, lemme know if I'm missing anything.

Edit: Here's the performance log:

you have to be standing by the healer, not at the samsur drop. You could not open the vendor and that is why you are getting an error loading up his inventory.
added to the first post.
It is in the macro itself

ACTool and Companion have different ideas about where the Windows temp folder is.
Did you perhaps install Decal and ACTool using different WinXP accounts ?

OK, another n00b question. Do I need to change any of the constants in the macro? Such as, I'm not using jewelry or buffs because I get over a 95% success rate dry on everything in here.

find the appropriate constant. If it = 1 then you will do that part of the macro, if you change it to = 0 then it will not.

After having some frustrating errors due to my own stupidity

, I managed to get the macro working last night. I do have one question though...
I would like to use my Healer's Heart when I make the potions, due to the Healing VI and Regen VI that it casts. However, whenever I have the heart equipped and begin the macro, it bugs out and quits. The error message references line 322. I don't have the exact message (sorry!) but when I alt-tabbed, it gave some hideously long thing (like -2134254253) at line 322 of potions.mac
If I use a regular wand, or a Focusing Stone, the macro works fabulously.
Am I missing something really easy? Don't mean to be a newb idiot.

I cant seem to find the download to the macro.
Is it in the Macro Vault?
Sucks if it is cause it has been temp taken down.
Maybe someone can email a copy of it to me.... or pm me a secondary download to it.

Hello, TYVM for writing this macro, but I have encountered a problem with it and am unsure how to proceed.
Firstly, does it matter whether ot not Stretch UI is on?
And also, I start the macro up next to the healer in Samsur. It then casts recall, goes to the archmage at Martine's Retreat, buys the Realgar, uses the alembics on all 70 of them, then it recalls back to the healer in Samsur. Well, it then runs to the healer, opens trade window with him, and stops.
Is there something I'm missing? Should I have bought a component earlier?
I have an eyedropper, 200,000 pyreals, and am unsure of what else I should have gotten before starting the macro
Vellus
Mar 27 2004, 08:31 PM
turn stretchui off when running the macro.
and when you say it stops, is there an error in ACTools?
when it stops, what call stack is it in? (find that in the debug tab)
and it looks like the vault is back up....
Nailer235
Mar 28 2004, 12:19 AM
"when it stops, what call stack is it in? (find that in the debug tab)"
Don't see Callstack in the debug log
Hrmm, do all my packs have to be empty? Where should I put the eyedropper / original pyreals then? Also, it doesn't matter if I have a item enchant foci, does it? It's in the last slot, I don't think I have to configure anything because of that..
Right now it got the realgar, put the alembics on em, and then recalled to the healer. Now it's standing in front of the healer, with the trade window open and 70 of the peas on the pack, doing nothing

Mar 28 2004, 09:02 AM
hi there, great macro

Question though; the macro doesn't seem to be moving the pyreals to the side packs.
<AcT> Using pack 1 to hold notes, scarabs, and tapers and 2 thru 0 for pyreals
Is there anything I'm doing wrong or should I add a line or two of
moveallitem Pyreal*, 6, 0, 1, 1
?
thanks again
-Chris
Vellus
Mar 28 2004, 11:37 AM
Thug. How many packs do you have? Try moving the foci to the bottom. For some reason or another it is not registering any secondary packs. The last available pack is where the plats and notes and spell comps go, the ones before that one is where the pyreals go. Right now it is thinking your main pack is your only pack, so it cannot move anything to before your main pack.
Nailer, not a debug log, but in ACTool, there is a fourth tab that has debug information.
There is command and macro, performance, test log, and then debug. If there is no debug tab, then the macro ended normally and I will have to think harder. Do you use windowed mode?
Nailer235
Mar 28 2004, 01:21 PM
Nope, I don't run it in windowed mode.
The callstack is
procedure make pyreals
procedure make potions
procedure buy drougts
procedure split_infusions
procedure make_infusions
The only thing it's done so far is this
1) I start it next to healer
2) It opens trade window w/healer
3) It then goes into combat mode and goes to Martine's retreat
4) It runs to Sialla
5) It buys the realgar and uses the alembics on 70 of em
6) It recalls to samsur
7) it runs to healer
8) it opens window
Then it stops
Here is the first part of the macro w/the variables
Include incUI.mac
Include companion.inc
constants
//version control
version_of_macro = 2.2.0
//user defined variable
potions2make = 70 //the number of concentrated infusions to craft per run

Arc, you have 4.5.5?
Ipa
Mar 28 2004, 04:19 PM
Well, Vellus, there's a simple solution to ease the support issues:
As the 1st executable line of code in the macro:
| CODE |
If {ActVersion} <> 4.5.5 SendText 13, You are too stupid to run this macro. Stop End
|
Arcadia
Mar 28 2004, 04:45 PM
lol, yeah, it's 4.5.5, all the newest drivers, etc ...

No custom keyboard maps...

Do you have an albemic in your inventory?
SA
Arcadia
Mar 29 2004, 02:50 AM
Supei,
What are your system stats?
Reason I ask is I'm starting to think it may be a timing issue.
I uninstalled everything from my main PC and did a full re-install (AC Tool, Decal, aven AC itself) and also did an identical install on my secondary PC. The stats of the 2 are as follows:
Main PC:
2.6GHz
1GB DDR
ATI Radeon /w 128MB DDR
Secondary:
Stock HP 315
1.6 Celron
256MB DDR
Onboard graphics /w 64 MD shared RAM
Install on the stock/slower machine runs perfectly right out of the box except for setting the constants in the macro, the ToggleAutoRun On operation is even working, the install on the main PC is still having the same issues including the autorun one.
Reason I tried this is I noticed a problem during the pack shuffle in that it was flipping through to fast and not finishing with the pack open on a few occasions. And also, after doing a few runs with test data I found it timing out on a few occassions.
I don't have the time right now to play with the timing settings ATM but will try it in the AM and see what I end up with.

I would like to say THANKS for releasing this macro to the public!!!
I can't say that my health-money macro is the best or that I spent endless month working out all the bugs, but it got the job done. Now there are MOBs people exploiting this. My guess is that we have until the end of the month before turbine nerfs this and the few folks that spent their own time making the script and keeping it from the public are now F'd.
I figure you don't care since you are leaving, so whatever. I just hope you can think about the other people out there before you do somthing like this again.
Maybe you put this macro out there TO get it nerf, if so good going.
Thanks again for the big FU!

It worked. I didnt closeout everything and restart after making some updates. So im a dummy.
I cant get it to be very productive yet though. Ill have to tinker. What should I expect for results?
AND
Should I only start with one realgar pea? I have a ton and it kept using them until my pack was full. Had to manualy adjust it.
Running now on:
P4 3.0 HT
1gig RAM
ATI 9800 Pro XT
Audigy 2 ZS
Win XP Pro
But the PC Ill run it on most (haven’t tried it yet) is:

Sound Blaster 512
Win Xp Pro

Well Romos, there is a simple solution to this all. It involves you licking the sweat from my ass crack.
I released it because it is already going to be nerfed. I have had this running for months, and did not release it for the reason of not wanting a nerf. Now that it will be, I let everyone in on it.
And BTW, I am going to go for a long jog and spend a few minutes in the sauna, so there will be plenty of sweat for ya....

If the command "ToggleAutoRun ON" is not working, it's nothing to do with timing.
This command resolves into a simple Decal ACHook call, that works regardless of whether the option 'Run as default movement' is set or not.
If ToggleAutoRun is not working, something is borked in Decal/Memlocs.
In Decal, what is your injection method set to, Old style or new ? Does it help if you change it ? (New Style injection should work on Win2K/WinXP)

Real nice answer, I'm sure you used most of your brain power to come up with that one.
Don't try to tax your mind to much with what ever homosexual perspiration activities you enjoy with your family members with your next post.
Well I'll guess just help out by making everyone know about this macro on other sites. By doing this I can help Vellus:
1. Kill the plat economy.
2. Ensure that is does get nerfed
3. Help Turbine to consider banning plat macro accounts and delete all plats in their inventory.
4. Ban all ebayers that sell plats.
5. Increase the download to this site, there by shutting down this forum sooner this month.
Enjoy
