I am inquiring about updating Warbot 2.13 to a new version that uses all 6 of the ales in AC.

My question is... Is the author still around and updating the script? I have attempted e-mails to <removed> and have no luck.

Try a PM to the author on this forum, or use whatever contact info is in the script package. If that doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you.

In any case, I would suggest that posting someone else's email address in a public forum without their permission is probably not appropriate.

Right, but the difference is that in the script, only legitimate users will see it. Here, spammers can see it too.

Very good point. I agree on your moderation. I am not here to cause problems only solutions.

So if there is any "newbie" guides on skunkworks I would love them.

I did however manage to add the other 3 ales to the warbot script + interface and they drink the potions under same conditions as previous ones.

Am I allowed to release the code if im unable to get ahold of the author.

Ethically, I personally would not redistribute anything without the author's permission.

Pragmatically, if the original author is not available, then the moment you repost a modified version, you've effectively volunteered to take over support of the entire script. Be very sure that's what you want to do before you do it.

I PMed Maud-Dib about this and here's what he said:

I already added the ales into the next version, but haven't released it yet. I will put the new version on userware tonight when I get home from work (EST).

Been busy with my 6 week old and 12 month old recently.
