Full Version: Understand using bool ReadProcessMemory()
Hi, I say beblow on the use of this "bool ReadProcessMemory()" but I didnt fully understand on how to use it really. >< I know that you have that site blow on how to use it but I dont get it still, I did make a little programe but when it reads offsets it just comes up just as one.. one... one.... and so on. I have it looks like this bool ReadProcessMemory(0x1929998); but it could be wrong on how to use it... maybe someone could help me out?

The data is returned in the buffer.
Although with all the "beblow" and "blow on how to use it" going on I wonder if that will make any sense. Does that make me a bad person saying that because your grammer sucks?....

No, I will not.
If they can't speak proper "Engrish" then get the fucking hell off of this board or get what you get.

I got this error I think, when it loops over and over all it shows is "1" anyone have thoughts on why this is happening? Heres what I have. I could be wrong with the offsets, not sure how offsets works tell the truth....

You are reading 10 bytes from a certain memory address.
How do you know it's an "offset" ? An offset of what, exactly ?
Ok, this what I get over and over now, 0x22fe40. Wich can be either a offset or memory address.
Will the address I was looking at was for FF. max HP, so I can see what my max hp of what I am at atm.

You're looking for 0xFF ? That's a single byte value. Why are you reading 10 bytes into a buffer ? How do you know you're reading the correct address ? How do you know the game client stores your HP at the same memory location each time you run the game ?

Get to reading on Google #1. Then buy some books. When that is all done and you elevate yourself in programming by say 2 notches then come back and ask your questions.

So, come back when you have a little more knowledge because no one here is going to teach you HOW to program. We will help you with routines etc... but only if you already know the basics and buddy you don't.
