ffact is set to auto start

untill ffact gets fixed I can't work on any more stuff in the macro it needs player view
but I have disabled it so the macro will stop chanign view while fishing


NOTE: cause the view is broke it will not find a spot so till it gets fixed use it in towns

tweaked the fish code its set to catch stuff 5-10 lvl's higher then your lvl it may or may not catch stuff higher but none the less I made it more responsive

hey edge, when i start this one, it goes into my item inventory and does nothing else. >.< i have FFACT2 one. am i missing something?

make sure ffact is running before you start the macro also make sure you have my ffact template in the same folder as the fishing macro

FFact2 is running, and i have the FFACT2_Legacy_Template.inc in the same folder as the fishing bot folder(the template i got from the link you posted), is that the right template or do i need something else? It's still doing the same thing. Going into the inventory selects AUTO for the auto reaaranging, but doesnt click on auto, and is just stays there, i let it run for 3 minutes, and nothing happened. Am i doing something wrong, this is everything i have running when i do it:

i also have a chat monitor running as well... could that be throwing it off or no?

Also wheni i downloaded FFACT v2, i just ran it... was i suppose to do something first?

when i ran it, i checked the debug it showed and this is all it gave as well, maybe this is the problem:

I am having the same problem except I've tried it on ACTool5.3 and 5.4.

Maybe the problem is that I'm too stupid for this fishbot. lolheh^^;

I have run the FFACT update but the FFXIRead is only 1.5.0.82 can cannot update to version 1.5.0.95 as per your advice.

yep yep im having the same problem as him, my FFACT2 is now up to date but my dll. isnt, its at 1.5.0.76 XD

Delete the current read .dll and the FFACT2 exe and then run the autoupdate again. This should download the newest versions, worked for me anyway.

hmm.... everything is up to date, and i have ffact2 on and ac tool 5.4.0 and still goes to only the item, and doesnt do anything else.... i have a US keyboard, and everything else needed well atleast i think i do, maybe there is something wrong with the macro? i would try to look at it, lol but idk what im doing with that. lol

also after countless atempts and trying different stuff... im starting to think that the problem is that the ACTool is unable to tell what my ffact2 is saying, so nothing happens. so could that be becuz of the template?

try getting the memlocs by right clicking on FFACT and find loc's other than that idk whats wrong except for maby the spelling is different in the macro for auto sort and such >.<

I had just got the older edgefish to work and now with the new update it's not working so I decided to try this one and I get the same problem. It goes to sort, but lingers with the arrow on the auto key. After searching down the latest FFACT I have that installed in the same directory, but nothing has changed.

Has anybody had any luck getting this to work yet?

I hazard to say that Edge has it working. I, however, don't. I'm with you on getting V4 to work but after this update, it isn't any longer.

Hello all... I have been biz at work and have not had time to follow edge's quest to to make the ultimate Fishing bot but i have downloaded all the parts that are mentioned above and i get the same message as all the others...

Going to give it a shot now...

Just some info on what im getting. I did get it to work and reel in some fish.....but it changes view everytime, doesnt seem to recognize if its in first person.

Also, I had the other edgefish working 100% and had code where it canceled everything that gave !!!. Can someone post the lines of code I would need for this to happen on ffact version?

I got it to be able to cancel any cast I choose based on text now. So basically since thats possible, the whole "call" fight/agro/heal/nofishhere, is not needed. It helps significantly outside of town.

hiya edge, i had your old bot working for awhile (1 day) and then BAM!!! that stupid update.... and now it just goes back and forth with the view and still fishes but doesnt recongnizes that i hooked a fish, or it just won't cast the rod >.< its very frusterating seeing how i just got it working!!!!! lol. I heard someone else is having hte same problem... if anyone know's how to fix this please let me kno. name katcher doesnt work for me. so im using Name Katcher-64(which it worked fine with the last few days b4 the update). thanks in advance

Leviathanjr, if you look on the old fishmacro thread you'll see that Edge isn't supporting it anymore so we have to wait until this one is working again for whoever it worked for before then maybe they can figure out why it never worked for the rest of us.

For the people with problems still,
NameKatcher still works, if not use Namechanger from the windower forum site. Sometimes i get NameKatcher to work on the first time, sometimes takes 3 times, but it works fine. To get a recent update of FFACT or FFXIRead and cant get it from the updater corectly, delete both those files then run updater again, it should load the latest version. the bot should work afterwards.

Ok, I have everything up to date. I am not running a windower. I have an Intel Pentium 4 2.8Ghz processor. I have the same problem with the sort. I tried calling main procedure instead and nothing happens. Both times I get stuck on this line from the FFACT2_Legacy_Template.inc, "MoveAllItem $Fun,$Param1,$Param2,$Param3 (Line5, Loop 1).

PC is AMD and Laptop is Intel.

OK. Well I got everything to work now. I use AMD and I used to have the same problems that everyone else was experiencing. I'm not sure what I did to fix it but I do remember playing around with the FF Keyboard settings by setting it back to default. I also did something else (don't remember since I was trying to figure out where and why it got stuck) so your mileage will vary

Regarding the default setting, is there a way to get the macro to "program" what your left/right buttons are? I really hate (and I mean HATE) using the WASD setup since its highly inefficient when I revert back to non-fishing. I've already figured out most of what each of the "keydown" does but I can't seem to figure out where (if any) the "left/right" buttons go so that I can change it to my liking and not have to deal with the WASD stupid layout. I prefer having the ESDF layout. its pretty much one key position over but it greatly enhances the number of keys I can hit as opposed to WASD.

Im getting the same problem. It gets to my inventory and presses f. I changed the keyboard settings and now it goes a step further and attepmts to auto sort the inventory but it just hangs there.

lines 108-113 should look like this to fix sorting problem havnt messed with it any more then that

that will fix sort but the macro still won't do anything cause its hanging on the Moveitem line in the template

IE its hanging when it trying to get info from ffact....

thats the problem I just don't know how to fix it unfortunately cause I don't have scource for ffact dll

Yeah im not sure about that im still learning all this and that was abotu all i had to contribute on the subject of course basic keystrokes is easy to understand

ok i down graded my ACTool to 5.3 and it worked however now it fishes but it will not recognize if i am in First person. so it will fish once in first person and then it will not work on the second cast cuz it moves out of first person. still looks like it is having a hard time getting things from FFACT. when i look at the code and match it with debug it is all spelled right not sure what is going on...

and then it will not sort between catches... not sure if that is anoter isue all together..

I was using the beta 1.1 vers and found the following problems.

It will not reload bait, switches back & forth from 1st & 3rd person mode and it will not sort inventory.

I then tried the beta you released before beta 1.1 (edgefishV_FFACT2_Beta.zip) and it has all the same problems except that it will sort inventory. Also I think this version has a few problems catching fish because it would say "you have a good feeling about this one!" and then it gets stuck at like 95% every so often & i'm using a lu shang to catch things that are 6 lvls above me. I'm also new to fishing so not sure if that is common or not.

I am on a intel p4 3.46ghz on a radeon x800gt & my laptop is a amd w/mobile ati.

i tried to use Find Memlocks for my FFACT2, thinking that may be the problem, but i get:
"Error 91 (Object variable or With black variable not set) in procedure m_frmSysTray_MenuClick of Form frmMain"


maybe that could be the reason? and how do i fix that if anyone knows

The bot was working as perfect as I have ever seen till the update, it couldn't reel in 'everything' but then again it might look fishy if my lvl 6 fishing mule caught lvl 71-85 fish... Hey, I just got to say I love your fish bot. Pre-update that damn thing was running flawlessly 24/7. I tried using your current version, and I'm not having any luck. I don't think I have the ffact(name?) program installed and I imagine this is why. Anyone got a link?

its been a giant hang up since the update, sit patient and let either edge or someone that knows what the f is going on to fix it..... a lame term but ya.... patience is a virtue...
