Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has started to find the new memlocs. I am in need of a few of course. I currently use ffxi_info.dat
I use the following commands from it:
player_stat
target_hp
target_name
hp_current
tp
mp_current
I know its asking alot to find those, so how do I find them myself. I am really not too computer savvy. >.>
Thanks a bunch.

Check out the
Memory Offsets Guide at the FFACT website. You have to register though.

These new memlocks... Are we supposed to download them every time there's an update?

First off its "Memloc" (short for Memory Location). Second, no, you don't have to "download them every update", unless you are bound to them. For the most part, if you don't know what a memloc is and you're using something that is created by someone else, you don't have to find or download them yourself. One exception would be fleetool.

He was talking about more then one. So by him saying, "Memlocs" he was correct.

Hate to be pedantic, but he said "memlocks".
Even ignoring the plural, that's still wrong, but anyway, moving on.
