Full Version: CVS v. SVN
AC Tools Everything Macro > Other Scripting Tools > Skunkworks

Now that SourceForge offers Subversion, I'm thinking of migrating my source over from CVS. Does anybody have any strong feelings on this one way of the other?

Note that this would not affect ordinary users of SkunkWorks in any way. This would matter to you only if you're a VB developer with an active CVS checkout of the SkunkWorks source on your machine. I don't expect there are very many such people out there, but I thought I'd better ask.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then you're not affected and can safely ignore this post.

Subversion = Win.

Since nobody seems to mind, I've gone ahead and migrated over to Subversion. The repository URL, if anybody cares, is:

https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/skunkworks/trunk

The old CVS repository still exists but is inactive. All future commits will be made to the SVN repository (which also contains the full revision history migrated over from CVS).

Again, this is strictly a developer geek thing of no interest to ordinary SkunkWorks users.
